In 1989, Comunidad de Fe launched a mission in the provincial capital city of Orellana in the Ecuadorian rainforest with the help of a handful of young missionaries from the church in Quito. Their visit generated a powerful move of God and the mission began its ministry with only four people.
Today, the church has 600 members and 82 cell groups that gather every week to experience and extend the kingdom of God to nearby indigenous communities along the Napo and Amazon river shores in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Brazil, bringing the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word.
Pastor Ramiro and Miriam have been married 23 years and have four children.

Malecón Nuevo Rocafuerte – Rocafuerte, Ecuador
In 2008, a group of missionaries from the church in Orellana embarks on an 8-hour canoe trip down the Napo River to the small border community of Rocafuerte. A town where the influence of witchcraft, incest and alcoholism was predominant, Rocafuerte has come to be transformed by the restorative power of God.
Today with 20 members, the church in Rocafuerte congregates weekly to disciple and bring the Word of God to the settler and indigenous people of this Amazonian area.
David and Claudia have been married for 15 years and live with their three children.
